Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within one month without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is one month from the day on which you or a third party named by you who is not the carrier has received access to the teaching material. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us, IU Internationale Hochschule GmbH, Juri-Gagarin-Ring 152, 99084 Erfurt, tel.: +49 3031198800, studium-fernstudium@iu.org, of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). You can use the model withdrawal form provided under the link, which is, however, not mandatory. To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal period.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we must refund all payments we have received from you, including the delivery costs (with the exception of the additional costs resulting from the fact that you have chosen a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without delay and at the latest within fourteen (14) days from the day on which we received the notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged for this repayment. IU grants the student one month in the study programme, which will not be charged if the student decides not to continue the study programme within the withdrawal period. If the student continues his:her studies and does not exercise his:her right of withdrawal, this first month will be regarded as a regular and chargeable study period.

Explanation

I hereby enrol, subject to the terms and conditions of the contract, for the course of study indicated on page 1 of the contract and assure the completeness and correctness of the data I have provided.

With the acceptance of my offer by IU, the contract between me and IU Internationale Hochschule GmbH comes into effect.

With my signature, I confirm that I have read and understood the General Terms and Conditions and the information letter on data protection "General information on the processing of personal data in connection with your studies at IU" and that I have been informed about the right of withdrawal.
