Computer Security is an area of expertise in high demand, as cyber attacks can affect all areas of IT. In this context, defence measures are based on the systematic progressive documentation of TTPs (Tactics, Techniques and Procedures) as instigated by the attackers. A defence expert must master the basics of modern operating systems as well as be familiar with distributed applications in the cloud and methods of computer forensics and data analysis.
In the practice-oriented Cyber Security online study programme at IU Copilot School featuring Microsoft by IU International University of Applied Sciences, you will be trained as a threat hunter with leadership potential. You acquire up-to-date knowledge in the field of Cyber Security and deal with the architecture, programming and maintenance of security systems. In addition to incident response and computer forensics, you will learn aspects of Pentesting and Reversing to understand the perspective of cyber criminals.

Study model and prices for the Bachelor's online study programme in Cyber Security
Depending on your personal or professional situation, full-time study is not always easy to manage. That is why we have also developed part-time programmes for all our degrees, which offer flexible and longer study periods. This way, you can study alongside your job or during your time off, whether at home or abroad. The content of the different models is identical. Depending on the study model, we will adjust your tuition fees accordingly. With the part-time variants, your weekly study workload is reduced.
